Searching Soulmate organized, “Saree Not Sorry” a networking event for women was a heartwarming initiative. Many women from different backgrounds gathered to share stories, help each other, and realize the power within. It was more than an event that reminded them of strength and sisterhood.
The objective of such networking events focussed on women was to offer a safe supportive environment, a safe space to help gain support during significant life changes, seek advice from experts, and find encouragement from fellow community members.
Women Coming Together, Sharing Stories –
The beauty of this event was the stories that each woman shared. Be it a homemaker or a working professional, everybody had a unique journey to share. Speaking with other women in the room, Nishi shared how she had to make a really tough decision about walking away from her marriage with her young daughter with little belongings & how she rebuilt her life & now also has her flat!! Another Woman lawyer shared how the manifestation power of focusing on goals and working towards them helped her through really hard times. A successful businesswoman used the forum to discuss how despite life being blessed there was one aspect of her personal life that was causing her some pain.
Personal stories, gratitude power of manifesting & healing came out to be the most discussed topics throughout the function. Whether career, family, or personal growth, everyone shared how staying focused on what they wanted, despite all life’s challenges, helped them achieve their goal for sure.
Fun and Laughter : Breaking the ice-
While the conversations were heartfelt and meaningful, the event did have its fair share of fun and laughter. To break the ice, participants played a game of questions, the funny, sometimes quirky variety. From “What’s the weirdest food you have ever eaten? to “What would you do if you could be invisible for a day? “. The questions brought laughter & smiles. The answers were hilarious, and embarrassing resulting in a laugh riot. This fun activity made everyone feel closer to each other helped lowering their guards, and enjoyed each other’s company.
It’s all about the authentic connections created by the participants.
Importance Of Supporting Each Other-
The most important takeaway from “Saree Not Sorry” was the need for women to stick together. Life can be pretty harsh, and it’s often the little encouragement, not to mention the understanding, of someone who has gone through something similar that makes the difference.
The participants pointed out how a beautiful network of women can support and lift each other through the ups and downs of life by giving advice, sharing knowledge, providing emotional support, or just simply listening. In today’s world, where stress and responsibilities weigh heavily, one can be greatly impacted by finding a community of like-minded women who understand and support each other. Whether through mentorship, friendship, expert support, or the sharing of personal experiences, it was essential that everyone in that room genuinely meant what was repeated several times throughout the evening by participants: lifting each other up.
A Memorable Event with More To Come-
As the event came to an end, it was obvious that the networking event “Saree Not Sorry” by Searching Soulmate was something way more than just a meetup! Participants were really happy to make authentic connections and participate in meaningful conversations along with having fun. All left knowing that they were part of a bigger family- the online platform where they could make more new connections, pursue hobby clubs, express themselves without judgment & reach out for professional help without society glaring.
